Seven Springs

The area was named after the seven springs that are located on a slope and from which water springs from the river Loutani. The water from these seven points passing through a narrow tunnel ends up in a lake located in the area.

Butterfly Valley

The 600-acre Butterfly Valley is located on the northwest side of Rhodes, 26 km from Rhodes Town and 6 km from its west coast. The Pelekanos River crosses the entire Valley. At the bottom of the site is the Natural History Museum, which exhibits specimens of both the flora and fauna of the island along with butterfly species from around the world.

A specially formed, uphill path through trees, small waterfalls, wooden bridges and small lakes leads to the Monastery of Panagia Kalopetra, at the top of the Valley.

Lindos

This coastal settlement is washed by the southern Aegean and is about 55 km from the city of Rhodes, located on Cape Krana on the eastern coast of the island. The picturesque narrow streets, the beautiful beaches, the excellent view of the sea, but above all the acropolis of Lindos, which dominates the settlement, have made Lindos a popular tourist destination.

The citadel, in particular, built in a natural fortified position, was used from the beginning of the history of Lindos and is intertwined, not only with the history of Lindos, but with the history of the whole island

Monolithos

Outside the village is a Venetian castle, built on top of a 100m rock. The castle was built in 1480 by the Knights of Saint John, to protect the island from attacks. Monolith Castle is largely in ruins today. Inside the castle there is a small church dedicated to Saint Panteleimon. Access to the castle is by a staircase carved into the rock.

The Old City

The Old City is surrounded by strong walls and is one of the biggest and best-preserved Medieval settlements of Europe. This fortified medieval city is full of buildings testifying about the past and the history of the island, from the antiquity, the Byzantine times, the Middle Ages to Turkish rule.

The imposing Palace of the Grand Master, the building of the Colloquium, the beautiful hospital of the Knights, the beautiful inns that were used by the Knights, and the Gothic churches, along with the narrow stone-paved alleyways, the stone arches and apses, the Palace of the Castellan, the various mosques, the plethora of Byzantine churches and the traditional Rhodian houses and the mansions influenced by Venetian and Arab architecture form a magical and unique image.

Kallithea Springs

Kallithea springs are thermal springs in Rhodes. They are about 10 kilometers south of Rhodes town. The site was designed by the architect Pietro Lombardi after research into the healing properties of the springs in 1927. The main building of the bathhouse is inspired by the Ottoman baths of the island.
